εἰ γὰρ δὴ εὐθὺς ἀντείποι, φάσκων μὴ χρῆναι ἄλφα τὸ πρῶτον προσαγορεῦσαι, ἀλλ' ἕτερον αὐτῷ ὄνομα ἐπιθεῖναι, οὐκ ἂν μάθοι τἀληθές, ἀλλ' ἀνάγκη περιπλανᾶσθαι καὶ τὸ ψεῦδος ὑπολαμβάνειν ἀλήθειαν· εἰ δὲ πιστεύσας τῷ διδασκάλῳ, κατὰ τοὺς ἐκείνου νόμους τὰ μαθήματα δέξαιτο, ἕψεται ὅτι τάχιστα
