Καὶ ὁ ἕβδομος δὲ καὶ ὁ ὄγδοος, καὶ μέντοι καὶ ὁ ἔνατος καὶ πάντες, ὡς ἔπος εἰπεῖν, οἱ ψαλμοὶ τὴν τῆς οἰκουμένης μεταβολὴν προθεσπίζουσι καὶ τὴν τῶν ἐθνῶν προκηρύττουσι κλῆσιν καὶ πίστιν, καὶ πρός γε τούτοις τοῦ Θεοῦ καὶ Σωτῆρος ἡμῶν τὴν προαιώνιον ὕπαρξιν, τὴν ἐκ τοῦ Πατρὸς γέννησιν, τὸν ἐκ παρθένου τόκον, τὰ θαύματα, τὰ παθήματα, τῶν Ἰουδαίων τὴν ἀπιστίαν, τὴν ἐκ νεκρῶν ἀνάστασιν, τὴν εἰς οὐρανοὺς ἀνάβασιν, τὴν τοῦ Πνεύματος ἐπιφοίτησιν, τὸν εἰς ἅπασαν γῆν καὶ θάλατταν τῶν ἀποστόλων δρόμον.
