Ὥσπερ τοίνυν τῶν ἀρίστων ζωγράφων τὴν τέχνην ῥᾷον ἄν τις καταμάθοι, τῷ ἀληθινῷ καὶ ἀρχετύπῳ χαρακτῆρι παρατιθεὶς τὴν εἰκόνα, οὕτω χρὴ καὶ ὑμᾶς καθάπερ ἰδέαν τινὰ τὴν προφητείαν ὑπὸ τοῦ σοφωτάτου προδιαγραφεῖσαν ζωγράφου παραθεῖναι τοῖς πράγμασιν ἤδη λαβοῦσι τὸ πέρας καὶ τὸ τῆς ὁμοιότητος θεάσασθαι ἀπαράλλακτον.
