Τῶν γὰρ ἀτοπωτάτων διὰ τοὺς τυφλώττοντας τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς καὶ αὐτὴν τὴν ὀπτικὴν αἴσθησιν διαψέγειν ὡς ἄχρηστον, καὶ διὰ τοὺς τὴν γλῶτταν πεπεδημένους τῶν τῆς φωνῆς ὀργάνων ὡς οὐκ ἀναγκαίων κατηγορεῖν, καὶ διὰ τὰ βεβυσμένα ὦτα τὴν ἀκουστικὴν αἴσθησιν περιττὴν ὀνομάζειν.
