Οὔκουν ἡ τῶν γλωττῶν ἑτερότης πημαίνει τὴν φύσιν. Καὶ γὰρ τοὺς Ἱππημολγοὺς δικαιοτάτους ἐκάλεσεν Ὅμηρος· Θρᾳκικὸν δὲ τοῦτο τὸ γένος· καὶ Κῦρον τὸν Καμβύσου, Πέρσην ὄντα πατρόθεν καὶ Μῆδον μητρόθεν, ἐπὶ φρονήσει καὶ σωφροσύνῃ καὶ δικαιοσύνῃ καὶ ἀνδρείᾳ Ξενοφῶν ὁ Γρύλλου τεθαύμακεν.
