Καὶ μετ' ὀλίγα δὲ δείκνυσι τῶν ἀγαθῶν τὰ ἆθλα· «Τοῖς μὲν γὰρ ἀγαθοῖς» φησι «γενομένοις ἀγαθὸν βίον ἔσεσθαι καὶ κεῖσθαι καὶ εἰς ὕστερον· τοῖς δὲ κακοῖς τἀναντία. Κακοὺς δὲ γενομένους ἀξιοῦν ἄλλους αὐτῶν σωτῆρας εἶναι ἑαυτοὺς προεμένους οὐ θεμιτὸν εὐχὴν ποιουμένων.»
