Ὡραιότητα γὰρ ἀγροῦ ταῦτα δὴ προσηγόρευσε καὶ ἔδειξεν αὐτοῦ γε ὄντα καὶ ταῦτα κἀκεῖνα ποιήματα, ταύτῃ πῃ διδάσκων, ὡς ἡ θεία φύσις ἀνενδεής. Εἶτα μετά τινος εἰρωνείας χαριεστάτης καὶ πάσης ὠφελείας μεστῆς καὶ τὴν ἐκείνων ἄγνοιαν διελέγχει καὶ τὴν οἰκείαν ἐπιδείκνυσι δύναμιν·
