κατὰ τοῦτον δὲ τὸν καιρὸν Καισαρείας μὲν τῆς Παλαιστίνων μητροπόλεως Ἀκάκιος ἡγεῖτο, διαδεξάμενος τὸν Εὐσέβιον. τοῦτον δὲ τὸν Ἀκάκιον ἡ ἐν τῇ Σαρδικῇ σύνοδος ἀπεκήρυξεν, ἀλλὰ τὴν ἐξενεχθεῖσαν οὐκ ἐδέξατο ψῆφον τοσούτου πλήθους ἀρχιερέων καταφρονήσας.
