ταὐτὰ δὲ καὶ περὶ χειρὸς καὶ ποδὸς ὁ δεσπότης ἐνομοθέτησε καὶ προστέθεικε· »συμφέρει γάρ σοι ἵνα ἀπόληται ἓν τῶν μελῶν σου, καὶ μὴ ὅλον τὸ σῶμά σου βληθῇ εἰς γέενναν«. ἡ μὲν οὖν τῆς ἐκκλησίας διαίρεσις τοῦτον τον τρόπον ἐγένετο.
