αὕτη χορὸν ἔχουσα παρθένων τὴν διὰ βίου παρθενίαν ἐπηγγελμένων ἀεὶ μὲν ὕμνει τὸν πεποιηκότα καὶ σεσωκότα θεόν, τοῦ δὲ βασιλέως παριόντος γεγωνότερον κοινῇ ἔψαλλον, εὐκαταφρόνητον ἡγούμεναι καὶ καταγέλαστον τὸν ἀλάστορα.
