ὁ δὲ πρῶτον μὲν ἀποδρᾶναι κατὰ τὸν εὐαγγελικὸν ἐπειράθη νόμον· ἐπειδὴ δὲ ἔγνω τῶν ὑπ’ αὐτὸν ἀντ’ αὐτοῦ συνειλῆφθαί τινας, ἐπανῆκέ τε καὶ ἑαυτὸν τοῖς μιαιφόνοις ἐξέδωκεν.
