καὶ ἐν εἴκοσι ἡμέραις ἰσαρίθμους ἐξανύσαι σταδίους οὐκ ἴσχυσαν, ἕως οἱ στρατηγοί τε ἀφίκοντο καὶ τοὺς στρατιώτας συνήθροισαν. Λαὶ ἐν τῷ προτέρῳ δὲ πολέμῳ τούτους αὐτοὺς τὴν ἐπώνυμον τοῦ βσαιλέως πολιορκοῦντας πόλιν καταγελάστους ἀπέφηνε.
