ἐκ δύο τριγώνων ἀποτελεῖται τετράγωνον· α΄ καὶ γ΄ δ΄, γ΄ καὶ ϛ΄ θ΄, ϛ΄ καὶ ι΄ ιϛ΄, ι΄ καὶ ιε΄ κε΄, ιε΄καὶ κα΄ λϚ΄, κα΄ καὶ κη΄ μθ΄, κη΄ καὶ λϚ΄ ξδ΄, λϛ΄ καὶ με΄ πα΄, καὶ οἱ ἐξῆς ὁμοίως συνδυαζόμενοι τρίγωνοι τετραγώνους ἀποτελοῦ- σιν, ὡς καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν γραμμικῶν τριγώνων σύνθεσις τε- τράγωνον σχῆμα ποιεῖ.
