τρίχα δὲ τῆς διαιρέσεως γενομένης ἥ τε ὑπάτη τῶν μέσων καὶ ἡ νήτη διεζευγμένων γίνεται. ἔστι δὲ ἡ μὲν νήτη διεζευγμένων πρὸς μὲν τὴν μέσην ἐν τῷ διὰ πέντε· δύο γάρ ἐστι διαστήματα πρὸς τρία· πρὸς δὲ τὴν ὑπά- την ἐν τῷ διὰ πασῶν· ἓν γάρ ἐστι διάστημα πρὸς τὰ δύο· πρὸς δὲ τὸν προσλαμβανόμενον 〈ἐν τῷ〉 διὰ πα- σῶν καὶ διὰ πέντε· τοῦ γὰρ 〈προσλαμβανομένου ἐν τῷ〉 διὰ πασῶν ὄντος πρὸς τὴν μέσην προσείληπται τὸ μέχρι τῆς νήτης διάστημα, ὅ ἐστι διὰ πέντε πρὸς τὴν μέσην. ἡ 〈δὲ〉 μέση πρὸς τὴν ὑπάτην ἐν τῷ διὰ τεσσά- ρων, πρὸς δὲ τὸν προσλαμβανόμενον ἐν τῷ διὰ πασῶν.
