Fr. 149 Ὁ δὲ τὴν Θεόφραστον μαρτυρόμενος θεοῖς μὲν οὔ φησιν ἁρμόζειν τὴν διὰ ζώων θυσίαν, δαίμοσι δὲ μόνοις· ὥστε κατὰ τὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ Θεοφράστου λόγον δαίμονα εἶναι ἀλλʼ οὐ θεὸν τὸν Ἀπόλλωνα. (Euseb. l. l. p. 148.)
