Fr. 183 Ὁ δὲ Θ. τοὺς ἀγρίους ἀλεκτρυόνας φησὶν ὀχευτικωτέρους εἶναι τῶν ἡμέρων. Λέγει δὲ καὶ τοὺς ἄρρενας εὐθὺς ἐξ εὐνῆς ἐθέλειν πλησιάζειν, τὰς δὲ θηλείας προβαινούσης μᾶλλον τῆς ἡμέρας. (Athenae. 9, p. 391.)
