Fr. 94 Ὀργίζεται τὸ ψυχρὸν Θ. οὕτω· ψυχρόν ἐστι τὸ ὑπερβάλλον τὴν οἰκείαν ἀπαγγελίαν, οἷον ἀπυνδάκωτος οὐ τραπεζοῦται κύλιξ, ἀντὶ τοῦ ἀπύθμενος ἐπὶ τραπέζης οὐ τίθεται· τὸ γὰρ πρᾶγμα σμικρὸν ὂν οὐ δέχεται ὄγκον τοσοῦτον λέξεως. (Demetr. l. l. 114.)
