Ἀλλ' ἐκεῖνο ἄτοπον ὃ καὶ πρότερον εἴπομεν εἰ τὸ ἡμῖν κακῶδες καὶ ἄοσμον ἐκείνοις εὔοσμον γίνεται· τάχα δ' οὐκ ἄτοπον. Ὁρῶμεν δ' οὖν τοῦτο καὶ ἐφ' ἑτέροις συμβαῖνον οἷον ἐν αὐταῖς εὐθὺ ταῖς τροφαῖς ὧν μάλιστ' ἄν τις αἰτιάσαιτο τὰς κράσεις ἀνωμαλεῖς γε οὔσας. Ἐπεὶ τά γε σχήματα Δημοκρίτου καθάπερ ἐλέχθη τεταγμένα ἔχοντα τὰς μορφὰς τεταγμένα καὶ τὰ πάθη καὶ ... ἐχρῆν ποιεῖν. Ἀλλὰ ταῦτα μὲν οὕτω λεκτέον.
