Ἴδια δὲ καὶ τάδε τὰ περὶ τὴν Ἴδην ἐστίν, οἶον ἥ τε Ἀλεξάνδρεια καλουμένη δάφνη καὶ συκῆ τις καὶ ἄμπελος. τῆς μὲν οὖν δάφνης ἐν τούτῳ τὸ ἴδιον, ὅτι ἐπιφυλλόκαρπόν ἐστιν, ὥσπερ καὶ ἡ κεντρομυρρίνη· ἀμφότεραι γὰρ τὸν καρπὸν ἔχουσιν ἐκ τῆς ῥάχεως τοῦ φύλου.
