Ἀείφυλλα μὲν οὖν ἐστι τῶν ἀγρίων ἃ καὶ πρότερον ἐλέχθη, ἐλάτη πεύκη πίτυς ἀγρία πύξος ἀνδράχλη μίλος ἄρκευθος τέρμινθος φιλύκη ἀφάρκη δάφνη φελλόδρυς κήλαστρον ὀξυάκανθος πρῖνος μυρίκη· τὰ δὲ ἄλλα πάντα φυλλοβολεῖ· πλὴν εἴ τι περιττὸν ἐνιαχοῦ, καθάπερ ἐλέχθη περὶ τῆς ἐν τῇ Κρήτῃ πλατάνου καὶ δρυὸς καί εἴ που τόπος τις ὅλως εὔτροφος.
