πολλὰ δὲ τοιαῦτα ἐπὶ τοῦ θερμοῦ λαβεῖν ἔστιν οἷον καὶ τὰ ἀλειπτήρια καὶ τὰ βαλανεῖα θερμότερα χειμῶνος ἢ θέρους καὶ βορείοις ἢ νοτίοις· συνέσταλται γὰρ ἐν τῷ χειμῶνι καὶ συγκατακλείεται τὸ θερμὸν ὑπὸ τοῦ πέριξ ἀέρος. καὶ τὰ σώματα πέττει τὰς τροφὰς μᾶλλον καὶ ὅλως ἰσχυρότερα τοῖς χειμῶσίν ἐστιν ὅτι συνήθροισται καὶ ἀντιπεριέστηκε τὸ θερμόν.
