Κυβερνήτης (Argus navis) ὁ Εὔφημος ἦν καὶ πρωρεύς· τοῦτο γὰρ ἱστορεῖν ἴσμεν Θεότιμον. Θεότιμος δὲ ἐν τῷ περὶ τοῦ Νείλου ὅρου ἱστοριῶν διὰ τοῦ υ γράφει εὔβολον, καὶ οὕτω προσαγορεύεσθαι διὰ τὸ ἐν καλῷ τόπῳ κεῖσθαι τὴν νῆσον.
