σκευάζεται δὲ ἐκ τῆς ῥίζης {καὶ} καταπότια πρὸς καρδιακοὺς καὶ στομαχικούς, ὅσοις ὁ στόμαχος κεκάκωται {καὶ} ⌞μὴ προσιέμενος τὰς τροφάς, καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν προσλαμβανόντων μέν, ἀπεπτούντων δέ·⌟ στάχυος δρ. ηʹ, κρόκου δρ. βʹ, μέλιτος ποντικοῦ δρ. ιδʹ, σχίνου ἄνθους δρ. ϛʹ, ζιγγεβέρεως δρ. δʹ, πεπέρεως δρ. δʹ, ἀσφάλτου δρ. βʹ, γλυκανίσου δρ. δʹ, μαστίχης δρ. δʹ, τῆς ῥίζης τῆς βοτάνης δρ. κδʹ. ταῦτα λεάνας ἀναλάμβανε οἰνομέλιτι ὡς παλαιοτάτῳ καὶ ποίει τροχίσκους ἄγοντας ἀνὰ δρ. αʹ καὶ δίδου ⌞ἀνὰ ἕνα, τοῖς μὲν καρδιακοῖς δι' ὕδατος, τοῖς δὲ στομαχικοῖς δι' οἴνου καλλίστου.⌟
