ὤφελέν σ' ὦ τυφλὲ Πλοῦτε μήτε γῆι μήτ' ἐν θαλάσσηι
μήτ' ἐν ἠπείρωι φανῆμεν, ἀλλὰ Τάρταρόν τε ναίειν
κἈχέροντα· διὰ σὲ γὰρ πάντ' αἰὲν ἀνθρώποις κακά.
