Ἔκειντο μὲν δὴ ἑκάτεροι νοσοῦντες, πάνυ ἐπισφαλῶς διακείμενοι, ὅσον οὐδέπω τεθνήξεσθαι προσδοκώμενοι, κατειπεῖν αὑτῶν τὴν συμφορὰν μὴ δυνάμενοι. Τέλος δὲ πέμπουσιν οἱ πατέρες ἑκατέρων εἰς θεοῦ μαντευσόμενοι τήν τε αἰτίαν τῆς νόσου καὶ τὴν ἀπαλλαγήν.
