Ὁ δὲ ἰδὼν κάλλος οἷον οὔπω πρότερον ἐτεθέατο, μέγα κέρδος ἕξειν τὴν παῖδα ἐνόμιζε, καὶ ἡμέραις μέν τισιν αὐτὴν ἀνελάμβανεν ἐκ τοῦ πλοῦ κεκμηκυῖαν καὶ ἐκ τῶν ὑπὸ τῆς Ῥηναίας βασάνων· ὁ δὲ Κλυτὸς ἧκεν εἰς Ἀλεξάνδρειαν καὶ τὰ πραχθέντα ἐμήνυσε τῇ Ῥηναίᾳ.
