Ἐνθέμενοι δὲ πάντα τὰ αὑτῶν νηὶ ἀνήγοντο εἰς Ἔφεσον, καὶ ἡμέραις οὐ πολλαῖς διανύσαντες τὸν πλοῦν ἧκον εἰς Ῥόδον· κἀκεῖ μαθόντες ὅτι οὐδέπω μὲν Ἁβροκόμης καὶ Ἄνθεια σώζοιντο, τεθνήκασι δὲ αὐτῶν οἱ πατέρες, διέγνωσαν εἰς Ἔφεσον μὴ κατελθεῖν, χρόνῳ δέ τινι ἐκεῖ γενέσθαι, μέχρι οὗ τι περὶ τῶν δεσποτῶν πύθωνται.
