Ἐκεῖθεν ἀρξαμένη ἄλλοτε ἄλλως ὑπὸ τῆς συμφορᾶς κατέχομαι. Ἀλλὰ δέομαί σου, δέσποτα, μηδέν μοι χαλεπήνῃς· οὐ γὰρ ἐγὼ τούτων αἰτία. Δυνήσῃ γάρ με ἀποδόσθαι καὶ μηδὲν ἀπολέσαι τῆς δοθείσης τιμῆς. Ἀκούσας ὁ πορνοβοσκὸς ἠνιᾶτο μέν, συνεγίνωσκε δὲ αὐτῇ, ὡς οὐχ ἑκούσῃ ταῦτα πασχούσῃ.
