ὁρῶ γάρ σε, ἔφη, ὦ Σώκρατες, ἕν τι πλουτηρὸν ἔργον ἐπιστάμενον περιουσίαν ποιεῖν. τὸν οὖν ἀπʼ ὀλίγων περιποιοῦντα ἐλπίζω ἀπὸ πολλῶν γʼ ἂν πάνυ ῥᾳδίως πολλὴν περιουσίαν ποιῆσαι.
