διατρίβοντος δὲ αὐτοῦ κατ̓ αὐτὴν αἱρεθέντες αὐτοκράτορες Οὐαλεντινιανὸς καὶ Οὐάλης, ἐπειδὴ καὶ πρότερον ὑπόπτως πρὸς αὐτὸν ἔτυχον ἔχοντες, ἔστελλον παραχρῆμα τοὺς συλληψομένους: ὃ δὲ παρεδίδου τούτοις ἑαυτὸν καὶ ἄγειν ἐπέτρεπεν ὅποι βούλοιντο, πρότερον τῇ γυναικὶ διαλεχθῆναι καὶ τὰ τέκνα θεάσασθαι συγχωρούμενον.
