Ἐπὶ τούτῳ τε Κωνσταντῖνος ὁ τύραννος εὐνούχους πρὸς Ὁνώριον ἔστελλε, συγγνώμην αἰτῶν ἕνεκα τοῦ τὴν βασιλείαν ἀνασχέσθαι λαβεῖν: μηδὲ γὰρ ἐκ προαιρέσεως ἑλέσθαι ταύτην, ἀλλὰ ἀνάγκης αὐτῷ παρὰ τῶν στρατιωτῶν ἐπαχθείσης.
