πεισθέντος δὲ τοῖς τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ τοῖς Ἰοβίου γράμμασιν Ἀλλαρίχου, παραγενομένου τε εἰς τὴν Ἀρίμηνον Ῥαβέννης ἀφεστῶσαν μιλίοις τριάκοντα, συνδραμὼν κατὰ ταύτην Ἰόβιος, ἅτε ἐν ταῖς Ἠπείροις πρόξενος καὶ φίλος Ἀλλαρίχῳ γεγενημένος, τοὺς περὶ τῶν συνθηκῶν ἐποιήσατο λόγους.
