ἐπεὶ δὲ κατὰ τῆς τοῦ βασιλέως ὠμωμόκεσαν κεφαλῆς, οὐκ εἶναι θεμιτὸν αὐτοῖς εἰς τὸν τοσοῦτον ὅρκον ἐξαμαρτεῖν. τοσοῦτον ἐτύφλωττεν ὁ νοῦς τῶν τότε τὴν πολιτείαν οἰκονομούντων, θεοῦ προνοίας ἐστερημένων.
