οἵ τε οὗν ἐκ τῆς Βρεττανίας ὅπλα ἐνδύντες καὶ σφῶν αὐτῶν προκινδυνεύσαντες ἠλευθέρωσαν τῶν ἐπικειμένων βαρβάρων τὰς πόλεις, καὶ ὁ Ἀρμόριχος ἅπας καὶ ἕτεραι Γαλατῶν ἐπαρχίαι, Βρεττανοὺς μιμησάμεναι, κατὰ τὸν ἴσον σφᾶς ἠλευθέρωσαν τρόπον, ἐκβάλλουσαι μὲν τοὺς Ῥωμαίων ἄρχοντας, οἰκεῖον δὲ κατ̓ ἐξουσίαν πολίτευμα καθιστᾶσαι.
