Illud me penitus pudet fateri
Cursor! quod temerarius proposti
Qualis sit tua, me arbitro , Camaena.
At fabor licet illico erubescem.
Hanc Afrae similem puto volucri
Quae, cum protulit ora, mandat actae
Et Phaebi radiis; deinde pullos
Crudos, non reditura, derelinquit.
