Perpetuam Stella dum iungit Ianthida uati
laeta Venus, dixit "Plus dare non potui."
Haec coram domina; sed nequius illud in aurem:
"Tu ne quid pecces, exitiose, uide.
Saepe ego lasciuom Martem furibunda cecidi,
legitimos esset cum uagus ante toros;
sed postquam meus est, nulla me paelice laesit:
tam frugi Iuno uellet habere uirum."
Dixit et arcano percussit pectora loro.
Plaga iuuat: sed tu iam, dea, caede duos.
